Have you shared this film with your family? If so, did you get any feedback from them? Did thinking about the who the audience might be influence the way you designed this film?
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch it. I did share the film with my family and they were very proud of me. They were happy that I was so truthfull about my brothers condition. I made the film according to my life with my brother not to please the audience but to let people know what it feels like to live with a person with a major disabilty. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Very moving! Thank you for sharing your story with us. Since you've had so many emotional responsibilities at such an early age, what are some of the things you like to do to step away from all of that and regroup mentally?
Hi Shaylah
I'm a photographer professor and I have a couple of questions: What would you do differently with your film? What did you learn from doing this project (not technical)? What is your next and up coming project?
Thank you I felt I was ready to tell people about it and how it affects me and my family lives. I really thank you for taking the time to watch it. I am glad you liked it.
Shaylah,Thank you, deeply, for bringing your story to us and the wider world. It is an important and necessary story. In my extended family, we also live with autism, and have been at times frustrated, but mostly humbled by the beauty, nobility, and light.... I think you know what I mean. I wish you all manner of success! Maria
Thank You so much for taking the time to watch my story I am happy that you can relate to me. I hope that my story can help you deal with the autism in your family better. We both understand how it is to live with people who have autism and I am happy to relate.
I am happy that I can be such an inspiration to you. I am happy you enjoyed it thank you for taking the time to watch my story i put a lot of effort and heart into it.
